The Commission represents a diverse cross-section of Plymouth residents elected on May 13th, 2006. Each member is listed below in alphabetical order. David Buckman

 

David Buckman is the owner of Golden Gull Studios in downtown Plymouth,has been Treasurer of July Four Plymouth, Inc. for 7 years, and was a town meeting member (click here to read David's thoughts on the current form of government).

 Karen Buechs

Karen Buechs has lived in Plymouth for over 32 years. She is a former town meeting member for precinct 7 and a current member of the Downtown Neighborhood Watch and Plymouth Youth Development Collaborative (click here to read Karen's thoughts on the current form of government).

Margie Burgess

Margie Burgess is a life-long resident of Plymouth and a retired bank manager. She has participated in many town committees and organizations and is currently a member of the School Committee (click here to read Margie's thoughts on the current form of government).

Jean Loewenberg

Jean Loewenberg is lead attorney in a financial management firm and is the former Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals. She currently serves on the Board of Selectman.

Anthony Schena

Anthony Schena (vice-chair) was born and raised in Plymouth, was Chairman of the Finance Committee for 4 years, and is a member of the Board of Selectmen. He also works in the financial management industry (click here to read Anthony's thoughts on the current form of government).

Dick Silva

Dick Silva (secretary) was an educator for 37 years and retired as Assistant Superintendent of the Plymouth school system.

Mark Withington

Mark Withington (chairman) is founder of Plymouth-based PLMresearch, a software company that specializes in open source development. Mark is also a town meeting member (click here to read Mark's thoughts on the current form of government)

Janet Young

Janet Young is Precinct Chair for Precinct 11 and is active in community affairs, including the Girl Scouts and Friends of Morton Park (click here to read Janet's thoughts on the current form of government).
